Sartorius glass filtration unit, type 16309, with 250 mL funnel for filters D47-50 mm and 1000 mL suction flask. The filtered liquid or gas comes in contact with glass and nothing else. The filter is supported by a glass frit. Recommended for analytical determination, degassing, and particle removal from solvents. Connection between head unit and flask is ground glass type NS. Only for vacuum filtration.

Can be sterilized using the following methods:

• Autoclave up to 134 °C
• Heat sterilizing up to 180 °C
• Flaming
• Other methods according to ISO 8199
