Whatman Polycap TF capsule filters from Cytiva are made with durable, hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes in a polyproplyene housing for use with organic solvents and chemically aggressive solutions without sample contamination. Common applications include venting, in-line filtration to sterilize and remove particles from air/gas/liquid streams, filtration to ensure clean inert gases in vial filling lines, and isolation of exhaust from fermenters.
