Quartzmicrofiber filters Grade QFH from Hahnemühle are made for filtration of ultrafine particles. Manufactured without chemical binders from high-purity SiO₂ microfibers, with extremely low content of alkali-eart metals. Filtration speeds generally much higher than conventional cellulose paper filters. Efficient separation of micron and sub-micron sized particles. Ideal for use in flat, perforated Büchner funnels, or as an air filter. The chemical stability means that the filter resist acid gases (HCl, SO2, SO3, H2SO4, NO, and NO3), solvents, and temperatures up to 1000 °C.
Recommended usage:
- Air sampling in acidic gases, stacks, flues.
- Aerosol testing.
- Heavy metal analysis.
- Suitable for low-suction filtration.
- Usable up to 1000 °C.
- Hahnemühle Grade QFH filters minimum 99,999 % of 0,3 µm particles.
