Whirl-Pak®Thio-Bag® sample bags
The Whirl-Pak® Thio-Bag® is specially designed for sampling chlorinated water from for example swimming pools. Each sterile bag contains a nontoxic, nonnutritive tablet containing 10 mg of active sodium thiosulfate to neutralize chlorine at the time of collection. The bag is EPA approved and has the additional benefits of saving time, utility costs, storage space, disposal costs, and replacing sample containers. No. 6.266 300 has a convenient write-on strip and 4 oz and 100 ml fill lines to help collect the correct amount of water as required by Standard Methods (fill lines are approximate).
No. 6.266 301 contains three times the amount of sodium thiosulfate as the smaller Thio-Bag® and holds 300 ml when filled to the top of the white write-on strip (fill line)
