The inline filters Whatman VACU-GUARD are the ideal solution for ventilation or gas filtration.

The easy-to-use VACU-GUARD in-line filter devices help to confine and isolate infectious materials in vacuum systems and protect the laboratory, protecting vacuum pump systems from aqueous aerosols and water intrusion.

  • Designed for in-line use with stepped barb connections for hoses with inner diameter 10-12 mm
  • Features hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane
  • Pore size: 0.45 µm
  • Membrane retains 99.99 % of airbone particles greater than 0.1 µm
  • Filtration area: 16 cm²
  • For one-directional use
  • Autoclavable: 121 °C for 20 minutes at 1.0 bar (0.1 MPa, 15 psi)
