A low maintenance electrode with an integrated temperature sensor featuring a clog-free, open junction which eliminates the risk of protein fouling. Designed for solid and semi-solid food samples.
Spear-shaped tip - direct insertion: The spear-shaped sensor tip has been sedisgned for easy piercing of solid and semi-solid samples like meat, cheese, ready meals, fruit, and vegetables.
Open junction, no clogging: The clog-free open junction eliminates the risk of protein fouling. Suitable for samples with high content of proteins like cheese, meat, or seafood.
No maintenance, no hassle: Due to the solid XEROLYT® EXTRA polymer reference system, there is no need to refill the electrolyte.
Always the right temperature: The integrated temperature sensor guarantees measurements are always performed with the correct temperature compensation, especially at elevated or low temperatures in food production.

Robust and resistant to breakage: The pH sensing membrane is robust and resistant to breakage when inserting the sensor to measure solid food samples like fruits.
Ion diffusion - no fouling: Low risk of fouling thanks to the sensor's open junction. The sensor diffuses ions, eliminating problems with immiscibility of the reference electrolyte and sample.
